Well calling Procharger for there price is not a good idea cause certain vendors get discounts. Id ask a local speed shop what kinda price they want then call Procharger to see if they are full of sheet or not.

Maybe you could give us a little more info about your setup...

As far as pricing, you only ever need make one call---> Bob at EPP. I've checked around at a lot of places before on lots of different parts. Bob always has the best price for procharger stuff hands down. I almost don't even bother wasting my time anymore looking for a better price because its most likely not there. And IF (pretty big if right there) you do manage to find cheaper, its from some no name company you've never heard of and has no reputation. At that point you gotta ask yourself if its worth the risk buying from them, or do you use a TRUSTED source that is a sponsor for this website, and has the best customer service hands down. I know what choice I always end up making But anyways, I don't ever recall the original post wanting any information about vendors. So back on topic now...

Give us some specs so the answers you get aren't complete shots in the dark...

alright heres some info on my setup(motor is being built). 427 lt1 with 225 afr race heads, world internals, a custom ported intake for a monoflade 1300 cfm throttle body, i forget the cam spec, nasty performance sumped fuel take along with a stage 2 fuel system with #96 injectors able to handle up to 1000hp, wilwood brakes6 piston up front and 4 piston outback, bmr suspension(xtreme), strange 12 bolt out back with a 4:11. the motor is a low compression blower motor able to handle up to 25 psi but i only planning on running like 15 psi at most and have a computer in the car for on the spot tuning. i was told because i have a large cubic inch motor that the f1 is the way to go verse the d-1sc and a front mount is required because the twin intercoolers wont be able to handle the f1. the cars in the works so im just trying to get the supercharger figured out so i can order what i gotta order when im done with the paint job. also remember it is an lt1 i dont know if anyone has ever done a f1 on an lt1. ive talked to bob a little but it was about the d1sc but my plans changed so i figured id try here and see what i can come up with so if i have any further questions after this post ill talk to bob in great detail about the setup.

Several of us run F1's on LT1's. You'll have to fab up your own piping based off of Bob's kit as I picked my F1 and FMIC kit from him last yr. You are in Il, you a stones throw away from him.

He is definately closer to us that you are! lol

Thanks everyone for recommending us, I really appreciate it!
The F1A is what I would use on anything larger than a 383 to begin with on an LT1. Our front mount intercooler kit will fit with a few modifications, nothing serious. Bob

It should be pretty efficient, and I will be able to tell you just how much so in several weeks as that is the exact combination we are putting together for my own Z28, shown here. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=12 Bob

We jacked it up to 15 pounds of boost to see how long it would last. We didn't care at the time if it lasted 10 minutes or two months. I do not recommend this unless you are planning on a rebuild!
If you have a one off extra large blower pulley made, then you can stick the F1A on an internally stock engine. A 5.50 to 5.75 pulley will do the job. Bob
