I was told to be careful with the stockers and higher boost levels. I guess the exhaust rockers like to snap off. Did you ever have any problems kyle?

is that because of the heat transfered through the valve?

I run JESEL rockers.

Pretty much understood to be the best there is.

1.7:1 ratio Sportsman Series. Cost about a thousand bucks.

Worth every penny in my book.

The best maybe..... the ones you have are non adjustable...... my new ones have to be adjustable for my solid roller setup and Jesel raised there price on them to $2050..
Quite a few people have used T&D rockers for extreme setups and they work awsome..... and BTW T&D makes Comps Adj Rockers.

On the stockers question to me. No i have never had a problem with them.... i had about 40K miles on them and then about 10K on them with 800+ hp and they were fine when i took them off.

I'm still running original stock rockers, hell I'm even still running the stock 98 lifters that came in the car - been in three different engines. Maybe four if they look OK still

Was thinking of getting scorpion rockers in 1.7 or 1.8. I was wondering if they will work with afr 225 heads and if I use my gt7 lingenfelter cam if the 1.8 are better choice than 1.7.

I've ran the 1.7 non adj. Harland Sharps for years. 7800 rpm with no problems.

Kyle, I have a set of the T&D/Comp adj. rockers I'll sell ya fairly cheap. I tried to get them to work on my hyd. setup and coudn't get them to work out. Just been sitting here. Let me know.

I am running Comp Cams pro magnums and hardened pushrods. They are quiet. Comp cams recommended .030 preload, but the stock recommendation is .060. I used a dial indicator to determine preload at .060 and did that. My setup is stock internals and a modest 5 psi of boost.

Very slight hijack. Is there a thread to describe how to do this, please? I just bought some CC pro mags and hardened pushrods, and I would like to make sure that I set them correctly to minimize any issues. Thanks.

I am running Comp Cams Hi-tech stainless, 1.6 ratio. Have the same style but new ratios (1.65 ex / 1.7 int) to put on with a stud change to 7/16".

Some tick, but I don't know if it's the rockers or the solid roller, or both. Not anywhere near obnoxious.

Running yella terra ultra-light shafts, but really only did it for peace of mind and a few hp...stockers woulda been fine im sure at the 1000+ rwhp turbo setup (mainly because the cams are so mild in turbo motors..)

On a sidenote Mecham, are you still running the same turbo kit?? I haven't heard much from you in a while... I remember watching some vids of you on a highway a while ago (like a year) and since then you've been pretty scarce around these parts... Just wanted to say WELCOME BACK!!
