Default need help. wilson manifold

ok they say that the wilson manifold is for big cube and high rev. well what about a 18psi turbo car. i would rather put the money in that then a fast.

can i get any info. even if you are just talking. please let me know. money aint the problem either.

Is it for looks or power ??

As a stock LS6 intake isnt exactly a poor performer.

I dont think ive ever seen any proper back to back testing with any of the intake setups. At least not from an extreme like stock, to sheet metal.

FAST would be a waste of money over a stock LS6 though.

The Wilson intake will work great with 18psi of boost, the turbo will push enough air for that style of intake, you do not need big cubes or high revs when you have forced induction.

Personally i would do a regular sheetmetal over the billet bank, Beck, wilson, and Hogan can all get you where you want for 1k less.

all the top performers here use a single plane intake, i would go with that if i wanted something more then an ls6 intake.

wait till the super vic comes out. It may not be a lot of money but it will/should perform very well with FI.

The problem is no one knows when it is coming out.

Yes, but a single plane intake will help ensure that all 8 cylinders are getting equal air flow. The #7/#8 problem is greatly reduced with a single plane verses a LS6 intake especially at high boost levels.
