Help with Turbo selection.

I'm going to be running a custom single kit on a stock LS2. I only want to make about 7-8psi with daily use, and about 550rwhp. what size single should i go with, and what brand? I want to try to buy the turbo for $600 or less. Thanks.

master t70? right around $600 from forced inductions, if they still carry them.

sounds like you're doing front mount, so i guess .96 A/R. Thats what i've been planning for my 430hp sbc.

actually, second thought, maybe a .84/.81 A/R for quick street spoolup.

im actually doing a low mount on a trailblazer ss, the turbo will be placed right below the bellhousing on the trans.

I also found a good deal on a New Garrett T04B90 would this be ok for a low boost application? the compressor is a .60 and the turbine is a .96

i also found this one, i think its a powerstroke turbo, its new and cheap, anyone know anything about it?

The T04B will not flow enough for what you want. I'm not positive about the power stroke one, but i dont think it flows enough either.

Everyone is going to tell you not to try and skimp on a turbo, as most ppl end up paying double when its all said and done.

Also, stay away from any remarkably priced no-name ebay turbos.
