People put music to the vids for their own enjoyment. We get to hear the sound of a procharger every day. If your so concerned with the sound, go buy a procharger yourself.

What happened to your 402? Weak link in the horsepower chain now?

It didn't this summer but with the new ATI inlet hat it will allow me to move my radiator back so I will have room for my a/c condenser, so in the spring a/c will be back on the car.

When I turned the boost up to 18 lbs on pump gas and getting oil into the combustion chamber I had some detonation and messed up 2 pistons. The block checked out good, the cylinders were still good and round but I got a heck on a deal on the LSX block and I think in the long run the LSX block is stronger and less chance of problems down the road. So the aluminum block can take alot of power.

does anyone have a link to the vid of the procharged blue trans am racing a (I think it was an LT1) corvette on some backroads to a building (cant remember where they said the race ended at)? They talk in the beginning about their cars to the other person like they have a grudge against each other, its funny but a good vid, I know its older but I cannot find it anywhere.

That should be a damn stout set up. Looking at low 9's?

If I sell mine it would be the block only, I will use my 4 inch Callies crank, Compstar rods, and my cam in the LSX block.

That would be great but I think that might be pushing it for a full weight, stick, street car. I would be happy with a mid 9.
