Driving on the street for 20-30 miles vs a 1500 mile trip is a whole different ball game.

I don't know how it is... He plugs NRE in every thread he makes... I told you this thread was destined for greatness

I think he should be asking NRE all these questions since he thinks they're the Gods of the engine world. These threads never get anywhere.

The shops that do wonders with turbos are the shops to refer to when you want to make power like they do.

yet you seem to ignore the responses from folks here that have actually made similar power??

you heard single turbos have lag

you really have no idea what kind of turbo/turbos it takes to even get remotely close to the HP range you're dreaming about.

I'd love to see all the bad *** 1k+ HP streetcars you're always talking about. You know, the ones your build of the week is going to roll race on 95.

How about you show me next time i'm down in Boca for work? only a short drive from lauderdale.

if nre- i am guessing gave u the above quote -whats the problem then? if their good as u quoted them to be don't bother us with ?? when they can help u all the way-

if u want a/c tell him or take him your car to see how they can do it-

this is getting beyond the joke-

if nre is so good why ask us ????if nre is so good why ask us ????

all jokes aside what u are doing is nothing special if u aint going to use it 90-100%-the ? to u is why u want 1500 rwhp? to be different or u have too much money or to much time on your hands'

a couple of freinds have some of the power u want-they reckon its over rated, dangerous, and they wish they never spend that much $$$$ on it has it has never hooked up or will hooked up on the street no matter what u do-

the way i look at it is-if i had 1500 rwhp and paid big dollars for the combo-i would ring its head off 24/7- thats just me-but u and i know it wont happen as i would have a better chance to enter the car in a burn out comp-

i would rather have a 650-700 rwhp fi car any day of the week with good manners and go when i need it-would 99% destroy a 1000-1500 rwhp any day of the week-

maybe u want to have 1500 rwhp so u can tell every one u have that underneath the hood-

by all means i aint having a go at you-its your money, i am jut saying it the way i read your story- which is 5 pages to long-

Show me where in this thread any of you EXPERTS answered the only two ****** questions I have:

1) Whats the biggest turbo (for twins) that will fit in the front corners and allow for A/C?

2) Whats the biggest single turbo I can fit in there and keep A/C?

You ain't done **** that I want to do or you would tell me. Keep A/C and make approx. 1,500 RWHP with a TT or T set-up.

NRE simply says....."whatever I want, he will deliver, period." But I think I want my builder here in lauderdale to do everyhing, it won't take 4-5 months like NRE will.

A pair of GT42's will fit in the front corners. Done that.

An S88 et al is about the same size so they should fit as well. There's your twin kit.

You could probably get a 101 or something similar up there for a single. But getting the plumbing to it eats up alot of room. Done that.

made over 1500RWHP, done that.

Sorry i don't share your obsession with AC, but the twins in front leave room for the compressor.

Who's your builder??

Quickin (Lyle?):

When you post these threads it's like sticking a stick into a snake pit... These guys like Harlan HAVE built and tuned what you are talking about. Why don't you just drop off your car and go build it. You can talk crap to folks on here and at the same time ask for advice.

Why don't you build your super car and show us how great it is.

Weak. A real man would have every cylinder feeding it's own 106.

I feel so bad for NRE. Sure, you give them all kinds of free advertising that they haven't paid a dime in real money for on a forum that they don't sponsor, but you've probably cost them hundreds of hours on the phone and computer that they'll never get a penny out of. Purely a waste. You're not even throwing them any business by your own admission. You're trying to milk them for free and then go elsewhere when it comes time to write the check.

People like you make me feel bad for tuners. If you bug the out of town ones as much as it seems, I feel bad for your local guy. I'd say that it'll be like a really poorly paying lottery for the tuner that finally does win your business, but honestly I don't think it'll ever happen. We've been hearing about potential setups from you for years and nothing's changed. Just hype and BS as usual.
