Your choice for a electronic boost controller
You guys should look at greddy, hks, Apexi. They all make great looking units, with graphical interfaces ect. Ive personally had experiance with a greddy profec-b and profec b spec 2. Both are pretty much one of the most rock solid best bang for th ebuck electronic boost controllers in the import world.
If i were to go with a manual boost controller the halman pro with cermaic ball would be my first choice.
The ams-1000 is an amazing unit, but hard to justify 1,000 when a 60 dollar manual will do all i need... for now, at least.
Im really leaning toward the Aem tru boost gauge, and Aem wideband 02. Both look great, and having a gauge and electronic boost gauge for 220-300 bucks seems like a great deal. Aem has always made great electronics in the past.

Anyone had any experience with the EBOOST2 gear specific setup?

while i do agree that the exile doesn't look as fancy as most controllers, the fact remains that it works and works well. i originally went w/ the Apexi AVC-R and if you want all the bells and whistles, it has em! however if you want a boost controller that works consistentanly and doesn't take a degree in rocket science to use it, the exile is the one you need. the Apexi could do it all, boost per gear, boost per RPM, toggle switch from low to high boost, etc. you name it, it could do it..... if you could find somebody smart enough to set it up! i had a friend show me how to set up the exile one time and i've been able to adjust it ever since. just my opinion.
I could definatly see this being the case. I went to school for computers, have been programming, doing website design, building comps, networking and other crap, so most electronics just seem easy to me. On the other hand if i was showing my dad, or who is car person how to use it, he would be like what the hell is this.
I did agree that the exile works great though.

i am completely satisfied customer otherwise
it typically overboosts only about .3psi and stays in that range for the duration of the pass.
it is also a good idea to have other equipment verify that the controller is working right.. not just the controller itself telling you it is working right
6 different stages of boost equals more control.

Exile and the old Precision turbo controllers are one in the same. They were both created by Rick so this controller is not new to the game by any means

We will be releasing a new 2 stage unit called the AMS-500 somewhere around christmas. It uses the same control program as the ams-1000 for precise control.
price of the ams-500 is 400.00
