Really you would want machining on the bore of the block....
Clean up hone of the cyl.
then new forged pistons
new rings
new Rods
new bearings (a must) since your in there already
then assembly
it adds up..... then ya start ading other things since your in there...
ARP main studs, head studs, new oil pump.....

Id spend the $100 on the SFI flexplate.. your legs are worth more then that..... if ya have the cash the SFI bell housing is nice..... i dont know much about pushing an LT1 that far.... never owned one...

yea flex plate is no problem. so can a LS1-LS2 crank handle more power then a LT1 crank do you know? maybe thats why you guys are able to push it so hard. i wondered if anyone would no my questions since you all have a different motor then me. thanks
