Re: Drove Blowzilla a bit and it was nice Michael, I have been following the NMRA Renegade class for a few years... 3300 raceweight, no intercoolers allowed, no turbos allowed, engine displacment limits... This is a class that is averaging 9.1's right now. My thinking was, well dang, if they can go that fast with a piggy back ecm and with those restrictions sure we can go mid 9's with heavier cars and with intercoolers. I am worried that my car is going to be 3500 after we add 50 lbs worth of blower and intercooler.
Chris, I am going to cut out the licence plate area like Reckless had, and I am mounting the front mount right up against the opening like a Supra. We are making all the piping from scratch.

Re: Drove Blowzilla a bit and it was nice hey PSJ, are you going to see 20lbs of boost at the intake, or will you see less boost because of head porting etc? Did you do anything special to your heads to keep them on

The headers are great quality and fit great. I'd reccomend the headers to anyone.

Re: Drove Blowzilla a bit and it was nice A-droid, I am planning to see 20 lbs of boost on top of my built motor. I might end up swapping the blower pulley almost immediately since it may only do 15-17 lbs.
I am going to run the car at 11:1 AF on the dyno, if it sees a dyno, and I am running custom h-11 head studs from Dave White.
Jhelms, my stang bro's tell me bigger is better. NMRA Renegade went unlimited on header size this year, and some of them are running Kook's 2.000>2.125 steps! Remember this is on 3.000 stroke x 4.030 stang motors with ~23-30 lbs of boost.
