Project Blownzilla Update (Vortech YS trim)
Let me briefly list what was done in phase I, and what will be done in Phase II:
Phase I was when Speed Inc. installed 9:1 FI motor, and my turbo 400 transmission conversion.
Installed:
-9:1 Speed Inc. FI motor
-FMS high rpm blower cam
-Turbo 400
-TCS Phoenix Super Pro 5000 stall
-Kooks 1.875>2.000 step headers w/3.5 collectors
-Vortech 8 rib balancer (keyed crank)
-B&M Pro Ratchet shifter
-Custom 3.5 oval pipe dual exhaust
Phase II will include the following installed, I may help on some of it if I have time to get away from work.
Installing:
-Vortech YS trim
-Custom blower brackets by SS Racing
-CAS air/air intercooler
-Custom intercooler piping by SS Racing
-Custom blower belt tensioner by SS
-Removing power steering
-Removing ABS module
-Relocating battery to the trunk
-Splicing in TCI pcm piggyback controller
-Installing Speed Inc/CAS drag tank
-Installing Weldon 2025 pump & regulator
-Installing SS Racing fuel rails with -10 crossover, -10 feed, and -6 return.
-Installing boost gauge
-Installing Siemens 83 lb low impedance injectors.
We may work on other aspects of the car, like aspects of the suspension.
John, what #'s are you expecting it to put down
Sorry missed you last time in Chi...have not made it back since (doing the LIT to JAX to LAX shuffle most every week now).
