new pics of my destroyed bottom end
Well, got the engine out today and decided to take a look inside. Nothing a few new bolts and some duct tape can't fix.
A couple chunks of metal, no biggie:
Nothing like shredded sharp metal parts to catch your balance when your hand slips off the wrench, notice the blood splatters:
And a couple slightly damaged rods, actually ones just missing:
Lol, I think the engines toast.
Time for an lsx 408

i can't believe that thing even ran at all...i mean, there's no heads or intake on it or anything. i think that might be some kind of record, even if it blew up...
...that's a fair amount of uh,...shavings. how'd it happen?

13psi and 682rwhp @ 6900rpm, probly more of both because it was cold and I let it spin to 7250rpm. I really wanted that 9 second slip on the stock block and stock tranny lol. So close, oh well.

Not many but I think it would have lasted a lot longer if I didn't push it so hard. It had a good tune and ran fine with no knock and plenty of fuel at the 6900rpm limit, I had to push it that extra rpm to finish the 1/4 with out running out of gear and the poor stock block didn't like those kind of rpms.
