Of course...some people can destroy any clutch. No clutch manufacturer can warranty against the driver.
Your pics certainly show carnage. But IMO for any clutch to actually get to that state....questions need to be asked as to what the driver was doing.

The ExoSkel is a next step up...but IMO, about 60-70% of the people choosing the Exo twin, are doing so needlessly, when an OZ700 would work faultlessly for them.
Both are excellent clutches though. I can hardly talk though.....I liked the look of the Exo so bought one myself lol. Even though I didnt need it.

I would have to agree. I've seen it hold over 1200 on the dyno.

I'm running a Centerforce at 550rwhp and its doing just fine

When I switched to an M6 the tranny already had a Mcleod single disk with it. I have been running it for almost a year with out any problems. I am at 500rwhp/490rwtq. I got about 20 track passes on it and no slipping from what I can tell.

Hmmmmmm wish more would chime in on pushing the limitaions on the 0z700, I think for insurance reasons I'll being going exoskel. Should be pushing around 750rwhp which outrates there standard 0z700 anyways.

Oh I have nothing against the OZ700 it was my favorite clutch I ever had. Had it for more than a year. I beat on my car on a daily basis if thats what your asking. It is nothing more than a toy to me.

I just bought a tex exoskel. If you do some reading on the spec, there's been quite a number of people who have had problems with them. Some havn't, some have, also heard problem may be fixed. I really don't know. I just know everyone with an exoskel is happy.

Best clutch I ever had for 500 - 600 horse is the RAM VDS. Grabbed like crazy, was still streetable with no chatter or noise and clutch pressure wasn't horrible *shrug*

Weight of the car and how hard you launch also come into play here. I dont ever expect to need more than a spec 3+ with 600+whp because it will be in a 2500lb car

And the OZ700 isnt rated at power. Power is almost meaningless.

Its rated at 700lbft AFAIK.

Although, 700lbft at 2000rpm, is a tad different than 700lbft at 6000rpm.

I am aware of that but great point none the less. An N/A car with a big block, high torque should be allot harder on it, especially on the juice. Mind ya turbo cars aren't no hell either on torque when it hits. My buddy and I talked and both decided to run the exoskel. He's a 427 around 600rwhp or lil better with a 200 shot and I should be around 750rwhp with a 408/turbo. from the sounds of it the 0z700 may do the job, I jsut don't think that I want to try it to find out. That extra $250 is cheap insurnace to me, expecially if the 1000 buck 0z700 blew up to begin with

Cartek with adjustable master and billet steel flywheel. It's been in the car forever. It's hung in while power went up, weight dropped, and 60's dropped.

Probably around 70-80 passes (maybe more) at the track. Countless abuse on the street. DR's to slicks. Launching 5000-6500, 3460-3900 lbs race weights, 550-750 rwhp, 1.45-1.8 60's.
