I think it's bagged for the year, new set-ups won't be able to be completed by then. Unfortunately a trip like that requires a lot of prep and with new combo's, limited time, and no tracks open to test it makes it difficult to pull together.

Its hilarious how there's one example of an engine staying together, so this means everyone should go out and build a MONSTER and it's gonna be bullet proof

Not sure what your looking for...but I'm sworn to secrecy anyway.
As for that previous post...That's a good one...I must have missed that exchange.
The only thing I have to say is that, Mike Brown has been one of the most recognized builder-tuners on the board. That is because he and Steve (Turley) repeatedly have one of the fastest cars in the country. The reason for that is reliablity and consistency. You can't tune into the seven's with two different cars without motors/combos that last for a whole season. They have put way more passes than most people on a given combo. So far (now that we know how the blocks from this past year look) the original Iron block from a couple seasons ago had the most threatening damage and it still survived 200 or so passes. The block from this year (which went 7.92 @ 17X) in Mike's car looked perfect...and it was resleeved. Did I mention he does this work in a two car detached garage in his backyard!
Sorry for the short rant....now let's get back to Christmas spirit...this post was started in hopes to poke a little fun at the guys I run with. BTW...I'm pulling for Global Warming so we too can race year round in the Midwest

What happened to your SS?
Unfortunately I needed some money in a short amount of time and had to sell her. I'm debating on getting another 4th gen, waiting for the 5th gen, or build a 1st gen (they are hella expensive)
