Exclamation How to decide between the P1 or D1 Procharger???

ok a buddy of mine has decided to put a Procharger on his 02 M6 SS.

which Procharger should he be looking into? whats the real difference is it the D1 can handle more boost than the P1?

also its not his daily driver anymore. hes got the ms3 in it now and im pretty sure its not a good s/c cam so what cam and head setup(s) have you all seen perform well?

thanks in advance!!!

its not a matter of what they can handle, its what thay can make, go the d1 without question, when your ready to turn it up it will be waiting, the p1 maxes out much sooner. as far as heads, yur budget is going to be sthe deciding factor on that

Do the D1 and if it puts out too much boost then pulley up. He will save big money in the long run. I went from the P1SC to the D1SC. First I had to sell the P1SC at a loss then I had to pony up another 2400.00 for the new D1SC.

Just have him do the D1SC and be done for a while.

Don't even bother with the P1 you will just want to upgrade later and then spend big bucks on a new head unit!

This is the ProCharger D-1SC complete kit that we offer, and everyone above is right, he needs to go with the D-1SC.

I think the more adequate question should be D1 or F1. I wouldn't even consider the P1.

Looks like you've got your answer. Dont even mess with the p1. Go with the d1 hands down.
