Does a supercharger make your exhaust louder?

Does a supercharger make your exhaust louder? I'm having a Procharger F1C installed on my C5 in a month or so and was wondering if I should expect the exhaust to get louder. I have LT's (catless x-pipe), Corsa Indy's with a Cam etc..Thanks!

oh yea just my little P1SC manifolds x pipe and corsa use to get really loud, and when I would push it up the hill out of Frankfort here, my neihbor said he could hear me over 2 miles away going up the hill

When I moved up to the F1C my exhaust didn't get any louder. Mainly due to the fact that the F1C is louder than the exhaust. I am going through Corsa Protouring and ARH long tubes.
