Default P1SC-1 vs D1SC vs F1A-Pics Inside!

I figured I would show you guys some internals so you can see what makes these blowers tick!

On the Left the D1SC on the right the P1SC-1, notice the difference?

See the D1SC's inducer is 1" larger than the P1SC-1, the exducer is exactly the same.

Now take a look at the F1A

It looks super aggressive but the inducer is actually .75" smaller than the D1SC.

Look at how aggressive the pitch on the impellar is.

Look at the overall size.

Same size volute as the P1 and the D1

So what does all this mean-nothing unless I can spin it 75,000 rpm-so this is actually a test. If I did all my homework right we should be able to make 900-950 rwhp with the F1A-if my theory pans out!

Pretty soon the F2M should be here and i'll post pics of that as well-that's the back-up incase I lost my mind!

It's always good to do your homework. The teacher would be proud of you. R u gonna be trying that P1 on your car as well? Is that cog for your car? Get those blowers mounted and make some power bro.

Great to see the blowers all together. I have been wondering about the differences.

*sighs*

You've got the inducer and exducer backwards.

*edit*

Also, looks like the F1A is using a styled blade similar to the Garrett GT series. Should be extremely efficient about blowing the air around

I'm very surprised you went F1A. Those are more geared for smaller cube motors. They work great on our 281ci stangs but we were told not to run them on 350+cubes.

Over the holidays I spent alot of time talking to some real fast mod motor guys. Apparantley the F1A is the easiest of the blowers to spin on a 8 rib belt while still turning all the other accessories. Also for the price I paid it was worth trying it to see if that's true. If not we have a Procharger F2M coming for another car I'm going to try!

What is the reasoning for that? Crazy to think the F1A would be better on a 281 vs. a 350

From what I have been told the F1A was designed for 03-04 Cobras to move more air at lower RPM to help increase the torque on small displacement engines.

Seemed to work fine on my 347 and I'm sure the 365 will be fine, I'm curious to see how it works out on a 4" stroke engine myself..
