driving through my convertor... oh well, It looks like after this weekend Im sending the convertor back and getting the next step up because my car isnt getting to 1-1 in third it doesnt even come close to locking up. Maybe this is why Ive only goin 10.30..lol
while im at it ill be doing a brake and valvebody in the car, and some suspension mods, so ill be ready in the fall. see you all real soon. Oh yeah and more boost wouldnt be a bad thing either as long as my innercooler is done.

Re: driving through my convertor... Bummer you have to do that Scott.However its good to know when your back in business you have alot more left in the combo.I want to see what it runs when all the bugs are worked out at 20 lbs of boost.

Re: driving through my convertor... i bought the $500 convertor and should have gone with the beefier $1000 convertor, so Im going wit the beter convertor and hopefully will get back some of the 89hp I lost going from the lock up 4l60e to my 400 with this convertor.

Re: driving through my convertor... I feel your pain.. I went to the track last weekend for the first time this year and I was hitting the shift light (6500 rpm) at 115 mph in third (TH400).. LOL.. I should be able to trap 155+ I called Jack @ Precision Industries and was told that it's impossible for my converter to do that.. WTF? I did run a 6.35 @ 117 in the 1/8th and I had a stronger pass going on my second run, but my optispark decided to explode.. 6.25 @ 111.. 60's were 1.70 and 1.60 respectively, I was launching off idle because I was on drag radials and was... scared 
edit: forgot to add that the 1/4 times were 10.20 @ 116 on the first pass and a 10.40 @ 107 on the second pass..
