Default Crappy Vid Of LT1 Roots Blower In Action

http://s12.photobucket.com/albums/a2...=Blown7lbs.flv

Sorry guys but all I have is my cell phone, no video camera. This is with 7lbs, tuned on it a lil bit today and it seems to run pretty decent. Still getting a lil knock here and there. You can't really hear it but I have to feather the throttle quite a bit in 1st and 2nd, it'll spin forever. It'll bounce off the rev limiter at the drop of a hat.

Yeah I plan on it eventually but I'd like to get the LS1 version built first. Shouldn't take nowhere near as long this time around.

magnacharger makes an LS1 roots blower kit. Lets get to work on an LT1 kit that works without ruining the motor.

Haven't ruined my motor and hopefully my LS1 will fit without having to hack everything up.

Sorry, I'm not familiar with what you guys are talking about here... So NXSLT1, you've fabbed and are running a roots type blower on your LT1 currently??? or are you working on (or thinking of working on) this setup for the LT1?

Bone stock except for headers and duals. HP probably won't be much on the dyno but torque should be rather nice.

really? How bad is it? I drive the car maybe a couple times a month, but I at least want it too be enjoyable. The car kind of has a drag suspension and no front sway bar. My torque is currently welded into my subframes, not sure how much worse it could get.... or could it?
