Default FI Forged motor build

I have a 2000 C5 with ATI and A&A Single intercooler, blew cylinder #7 (didn't have a boost gauge).

So far I've selected and ordered: LS6, Diamond Forged dished pistons (6.125), Eagle H-rods (6.125). I'll also replace bearings, rings, gaskets, oil pump, and give the heads a 3-angle cleanup.

What else can/should I do?

Main studs: ARP
Head studs: ARP, or those special ones from Dave White

Tune the new setup for 11:1 A/F at WOT on Dynojet.

Holy COW! 11:1 A/F on a forged bottom end? That's even richer than I have on the stock bottom end. I'm at 12:1 - 12:5 and my tuner said that was plenty safe with where he has my timing, etc.

I will agree tuning is very important. But when you start pushing levels of boost above 9lbs on a stock LS1 you are asking for trouble.

I have blown an LS1 with a blower.

The following is the rebuild parts.
Ross Pistons (actually replaced with Diamond to get rid of -7.77 cc dish)
Lunati Pro Billet Forged Rods
Katech Oil Pump
SLP Double Roller Timing Chain
Comp Xer 224 .581 114lsa
Stage II LS6 Blower Heads 72cc chambers
Comp Push Rods
Rev 1116 Dual Valve Springs
Cartek Clutch
Compression Ratio is 9.66

Car is currently in R&D with Xtreme for TTi kit.

OK, changes to plan:
A&A Stage 2 heads - instead of cleanup existing
ARP head and main studs - instead of Fel-Pro TTY
Thunder racing blower cam - instead of stock
LS6 metal head gaskets (forget brand, need to ask A&A)

The Diamond forged pistons have an 8.6cc dish.

Is Katech oil pump and Double Roller chain important?

I'd like to O-ring the heads, but Andy (A&A) thinks it may interfere with gaskets.
