Roots Style vs Centrifugal Blower
So for a track guy i say procharger, street guy with stock displacement magnacharger all the way (less **** under the hood as well)

I love the D1SC for sure, but i was in a 2004 GTO with stock cubes and it had a Maggie
and a 2,800 stall converter. All i know when the guy hit the gas that car took off like it had at least a 125hp shot of nitrous...lol. And it pulled strong all the way to its shift point. Since the car jumped to 90 mph so fast i was too busy looking forward to see what RPM the car was shifting at..lol. It was a lot faster then what i was expecting. So for a street car a roots seems very interesting, but i heard the D1SC doesn't take too long to start making strong boost/power.
Looks like nothing but a headache in reality.
Twin screws will produce more power and heat than a roots due to it's internal compression. If you think heat with a roots is bad a twin will be worse. Some vette guys running KBs were seeing nearly 200+ IATs at the end of the 1/4. A centrifugal will produce the lowest IAT compared to postitive displacement blowers.
I think for ~500rwhp a TVS1900 would be you best bet. It should produce lower IATs than the 2300 and have even more torque off idle at the same psi.
