Before someone asks. I think we have a bad crank sensor and I am leaving on a trip in the morning so this will continue on Tuesday. Have a good weekend.

Whoever put the Long tubes in did not care about heat and wires and this is what ended up happening and now I have to re-wire the engine harness.

Here are my pics.

Everything is done now and I should be good tomorrow. We will see though. It has been one electrical gremlin after another with this install.

Well I rewired(soldered, double heat shrinked, taped, loomed, and heat taped the entire harness from where it splits all the way to the connections. The Crank sensor wires were damaged in a 2" section and the oil level sensor was obliterated in a 6" section. All is redone and I am getting closer to firing this thing. Should be good tomorrow. Thanks Mike and Ed for your help.

I agree. I havent had windshield wipers on my car for about two months and it's fine in the rain as long as the rain x is thick.

I have some work arounds for the IAT temps. Going to be testing them here soon.

Incredible thread! Now I just need to figure out how much off duty, search warrants, and trials this will cost me!

Yeah, I know. Talked to him on YB. Unfortunately, there is a difference between "Want to" and "Can currently afford to".

As the fiancee keeps reminding me... One project at a time.

I'm certainly not an expert on this matter. I can only speak from MY experience and from what W2W and SDCE have both told me about the less than optimal design of the system.

Movement of the IAT sensor, cold air from under the car and meth will get my IAT's in the ambient range.
