the IC piping is as follows. there is 3 1/2" from the turbo to the IC, then 4" from the IC to the TB. the reason is the discharge on the ST80 is 3 1/2 so when we put a V band clamp on the turbo it worked out well. and then the other half being 4" was because that would fit up directly to the TB. i didn't want to have a smaller pipe and have one of those weird couplers that expands, i just wanted it to flow nicely.

As for the bends. i bought all my stainless and aluminum from an online place that has some VERY good prices. PM me if you want the link since it's non sponsor. although there is one 3 1/2" Tight radius bend that comes right off the turbo that i got from a local aircraft supplier.

Thanks, i would like some numbers as well. it's been way too long. It's almost done though, i actually just picked up a set of used Aerospace brakes for all 4 corners. They're going to be the fastest part on my car since they came off of Tom Kempfs Red Rocket

Thread from the dead, never thought this day would come...

and finally got it fired up wednesday night
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CI8EaLq4yWc

Finally got the entire car rewired and in 1 piece. Now it's over at my buddies shop ready to be put on the dyno when he has some free time. talk about a long *** money pit of a build. I thought I would have given up by now, but now that it's idling on those big 'ol 160# injectors with the cam lopin away, it makes it all worth it!

Thanks for looking

well since most of the car is bare now, there is a lot of the old connectors gone, but what is left all runs on top of the motor under the braided fuel lines and goes to the back of the motor, then the harness as a whole goes through the firewall and the stock PCM and the BS3 are mounted in the glovebox. Battery is in the trunk. the wiring that goes to the front for the fans and lights all run under the core support in the little channel tucked up and away, and they make their way back along the frame rail inside the wheel wells.

yes, getting rid of the abs, and the AC gets rid of a lot of ugly unsightly things too. for the BS3, i tapped the intake air temp sensor in the side of the intake behind the TB where one of the PCV lines once ran into. and the two map sensors are mounted on the back/top of the intake and the lines to them go to a vacuum tee that is tapped into where the old vacuum line once came out of the back of the intake. everything was hidden as best as possible with the car. I always wanted a car that I could maybe win a trophy or two with at a car show should I go...

So what kind of numbers you planning? I think you said somewhere in the beginning of the thread 700ish? How much boost too? With 160# injectors ... you should be able to take it up pretty high with the 346.

That is just so bad ***. I envy those who have a clean engine bay. I can't afford to buy the BS3 system, so I'm trying to find out which wires I can get rid of. I removed the AC, so I don't have all of that clutter in the bay.

hoping for 700'ish still on pump gas off the gate with a 15# spring. not sure how far out this will go on race gas, we shall find out in due time though!

Thanks, a lot of the stuff i have i bought used at random times when i didn't need it at the time but found great deals and couldn't pass it up. I bought that BS3 box a few years ago used for $800!

yes, this is my buddies turbo that finished the car for me, it's on loan. i gave him a $1000 deposit on it though with the rest of the tax $$ i'll be owning it!

Well the car is on the dyno, got all the driveability stuff pretty much down and squared away. realized my valve body is a clean neutral VB so my shifter isn't right, R and N are the same spot in the trans and just uses the trans brake for R, so i either need a new shifter or figure out how to modify what I have, since most shifters are for P-R-N-1-2-3, my valve body is P-rn-1-2-3-N So for now the car wouldn't go into third, will have to figure that out before it can lay down some real power.
