Turbo or Supercharger
My car ran great at 4 psi with mild tuning and some fuel upgrades. No problems what so ever, then I dicked it up with a boost controller and a lead foot.
If you want to get into what you need to do to prep your car to run seriouse FI then 6K won't be enough to do much and the total price will realy depend on how much power you want to make and what your going to be doing with the car.
Biggest thing (imho)with prepping the car for FI is getting a well built lower cr motor under the hood. I went with a CR of 8.5:1 a mustang buddy of mine went with 8:1 both of us are shooting for over 600rwhp. Everything else is pretty standard for hotrodding out your car I.E tranny rebuild or replacement, new rearend.
I say go turbo because... I just like turbo's
and I've dumped as much money as I possibly can in to twinturboing my car for the last year or so and believe everyone should do the same.

In all honesty though it seems like the ATI and Vortech supercharges have less headaces assosiated with them.
