We are also looking how to keep the intercooler a universal applications for all LS1 F-Body cars, so we are concerned about piping issues too.

i forgot Reckless did something similar to his formula when he had the turbo tech kit on it. He took the turbotech intercooler and mounted it were you did.
maybe he has a few insights on it.

Looks nice Scott.

Did you use a roll of tin to go around the hole?

Reckless did this a while back and used mesh, but I like how Scott did his my only concern will be to research what happens when all that air goes up in there, I hope it won't deform the front bumper or push up on the hood...

we made the duct from aluminum and aircraft screws, The duct goes up to the IC but still has room for the air to go around it some. The bumper has a few extra supports that we fabbed up and seems to be really durable still. We can always chop up the foam and put it back in if we run into problems. the hoods pinned on since we lost the latch assembly when we did the fmic.

Ill keep you posted on how this works out for us. we should be testing the new system by the middle of next month and hope to have it available around october?

Are you going to be using the "log" style manifold or something different? What you did to your nose is what I am planning on doing.

no logs here....two custom headers...pics will be available in a few months

This systems sic as hell so far, exhaust exits the car through the front bumper...a milder more conservative version is in the works too.

Scott are you running a motor plate or did you find a way to make the headers feed into the turbo?

Wacky. Yeah I don't think that be too street legal . Look forward to seeing pics once its done. BTW if by some odd reason I want to try swapping to yours would you be willing to sell the headers and piping alone? I'm hoping my goal is reached with this turbotech kit but if not I'd like another option open .

heres the exhaust set up im using on my car

this is what I will be using on the street. I realize this may be too much for the average customer which is why the "street" version of our systems exhaust will be facing the rear.

Roll up to an import that revs at you rev it up on him and give him a heart attack. lmao
plus youd choke him with exhaust fumes.

Scott the intercooler company is going to get back to me in the next two days. Chris measured, he took the nose off, and the feeling is that the 30 x 13.85 x 4.59 will fit. He said it would be tight though. I have my other one, it's a bit smaller, but it should support 20 lbs of boost. I think it's 26 x 12 x 3.25 or so. I'll get measurements of that one tonite.
