I really do not understand why a SC'd car would want to use the stock tensioner? Katech the builders of the C5R recommends modded cars to use a tensioner that you can adjust. Looking at my Katech tensioner I can understand why. I adjust it and never have to worry about the belt slipping..
Vince the ATI blower is run off a seperate belt on a f-body.It doesnt have anything to do with the stock accesory belt.A Katech tensioner is a wise mod on a car with a higher than stock rev-limiter.I slung many belts at high rpm with h/c combo(before ATI) and 6700 rpm limiter. The ATI comes with a different crank pulley that turns both the blower and factory belts individually.

Bos I talked to Jimmy at www.reichardracing.com and he says the bracket is probably flexing. He said ATI makes a great head unit, but when you start to make some boost the bracket flexes. He's looking for an ATI bracket, so he can make something stronger.

Gator Back Belt for sure... Auto Zone will order you it no problem... I'm not sure about the 8 rib belt but if it exists you will be able to get it there.

Bos. You may also want to contact Jimmy at Reichart Racing. As stated, he's looking for an ATI bracket so that he can start fabbing some sort of 'support'. Being the same company that designed the pulley you're using, you may want to try him if Sikora is unable to help.

Talk to Scott at SD Concepts.
www.sd-concepts.com

he did a lot of work with the crappy ProCharger stuff on my LT1 car. Fixed all flex issues (I could bend it by pushing on the belt from under the car), replaced the bad ATI tensioner with a much more HD spring loaded one.

I would highly reccomend him to anyone with a Procharger setup.

Brian, IMO that's a bad move. You don't know if you also have a possible alignment problem. I'm sure Speed Inc. measured it but depending on your tensioner setup you might have an alignment problem with proper belt tension.

IMO I'd have Chris take the car for a week and figure it out.
