I am going to be trying out their gt-7 cam . I didnt' want to go up that much on lift and have to worry about changing out springs every 20000 miles or so.
Here are the specs of lingenfelter cams compared to z06 cams. They are very very similar. These cams are obviously going to be stealth and idle very close to stock idle, some guys say even mellower than stock idle. Thats fine with me.
01 ZO6 cam: 204/211 .525/.525 -116 LSA
Lingenfelter GT2 205/212 .540/.540 –116.5CL
02-03 ZO6 cam: 204/218 .551/.547 -117.5 LSA
Lingenfelter GT2-3 207/220 .571/.578 –118.5CL
05-07 ZO6 cam 210/230 .561/.557 –120.5 LSA
Lingenfelter GT7 208/230 .554/.546 –121CL
Anyone know what spec the 04 z06 cam had for specs. For some reason the dates skip over it. Mostly just curious. What I think they should do is a gt 11 cam with less lift around 580 or 590 with 1.7 rockers. Current gt11 is near 650 lift.
That GT2-3 should be a good cam for you and should drive exactly like stock. I was going to go with that for my D1SC setup, but decided to go with Speed Inc's SC1 (222/228 114LSA) cam ground on XE-R lobes so it would sound at least a tiny bit like I had a cam
It made something like 530 rwhp and 545 torque at 7.9 psi on 87 octane on EPP's dyno last December.
As far as the twins go, I'm going to send them to that guy in Texas who puts in the 65 lb/hr inducer wheels and ports the compressor housing for $1500 or whatever it was. He hangs around on the GTO forums. That won't be for a while though. There is so much rust, corrosion, and oxidation everywhere on this kit that I'm going to be spending a lot of time and money replacing those cheap oil lines, water lines, bolts, nuts, and washers.
