Your right... I was also thinking of a 350z kit that had interally gated turbos' and people were changing them and adding an external gate.

APS uses genuine Tial Wastegates..............purchased directly from Tial in the US.

Ok was pretty sure no problem in that area Peter. So do you have any ideas for these guys that seem to be getting more than 7 psi from their kits? I would think one 38 per turbo is plenty big enough.

The base wastegate springs are 7.5 - 8 PSI so there's no way you could run 5 PSI.

I'd guess that the wastegates are very marginal on gas flow or the orifice in the turbine housing is marginal. If you have a very retarded ignition timing stratgey this could also accentuate the issue.
