The more sound reduction devices you put before the turbo the worse your performance #'s will be. You'll build slightly more backpressure before the turbo and won't have good flow to the turbo to get a good smooth spool.

If your that worried about the sound it may be best to ditch the STS and go another route.

even though losing power isnt really an issue, now that i got a good forged turbo motor built... i think i found my solution.. i like this idea of having a muffler hooked up, then bypassing it with a cutout.. something like the pic.. hmmmmm
