You're going to inject the water/meth mixture before the blower?

Yes, you can do this to quench the rotors as well as prevent heat soak. The rotors will not be damaged by the water since they turn much slower than a centrifugal. It is the most effective location for the injection.

Actually the two other blowers that checked for fitting is the MP2300 6th.Generaton Magnuson and the Whipple twin screw W140AX. I am probably going to tackle the Whipple first because I think it will be the easiest to do!
But more on that later I still have to get this one working first!

No fighting over who gets one first.
If this works out as planned, I will make as many as I can to keep these LT1's out there pulling stumps with gobs of torque for anyone up to the task.

Are you still on a stock shortblock? Seems like I remember hearing stock LT1's can't handle much boost.

fine fine, my right and my subaru.
Lt1's can handle about 5-7 pounds intercooled before you run in to issues IMO i would plan on a build shortblock if i did this

No, I have forged pistons and forged I beams rods with ARP fasteners, I still have two bolt mains and cast crank however! It will hold for this aplication and conservative tune but I plan on using a Golens Blower short block for my Wipple project later.
Thank's

I would ask Magnuson about the water because of the bearings. I wouldn't worry so much if it were pure alky. But I do think the best point for alky injection would be the manifold, since on a Roots blower (like the Maggie), that's where the compression (boost building) takes place, so that's where the heat is getting generated. The Maggie is simply an air mover.

Default Updatd pics and video

I ran it for the first time! Very impressed with initial testing! I still have to do my fuel pump and water/meth install. I will also dress up the engine bay to give it some bling! Then comes the big dyno day!!! If I thought I was excited before....that was nothing!!
Enjoy!
