Default need the correct size belt for MMS Crank pulley

I just got done installing my MMS Crank pulley. I currently have a 3.5" S/C(P1SC) pulley. Now from mike morgans prvs post he states with a 3.5" pulley you need a K060408 belt. Well i go to Autozone to get a goodyear gatorback belt. I tell the service guy i need a goodyear gatorback belt K060408. well he tries to look it up in the computer and says the numbers are different for gatorback belts and gives me a gatorback belt with the part # 4060407 6PK1035 . I install this belt and its too big
So i call pepboys just to find out the belt size of a K060408 belt and they guy says i'm missing some numbers before and after the K. WTF?
Ok seriously i dont want to install another belt and find out its too big or small.
What is the correct size and part # for a goodyear gatorback belt for a P1SC 3.5" pully w/ MMS Crank Pulley?

I just put a NAPA K4060400 on mine, it wasn't real easy. I had to put it on the supercharger pulley and start it on the crank pulley as far as I could by hand and then had the wife bump the starter to roll it the rest of the way on the crank pulley. I wanted a Gaterback 4060400 but they didn't have it in stock at AutoZone.

Here is a link to Gatorback belt sizes:
http://www.goodyearbeltsandhose.com/cars/gatopoly.html

Here is Mike Morgan's post about sizes to use:

K060415 for 4.5-4.25 41.5"
K060410 for 4.1-3.90 41.0"
K060408 for 3.85-3.5 40.8"

These 3 belt lengths take care of most apps.
One size may work for a couple pulley sizes.

I used both a 40.8 and a 40.7 inch belt for the 3.60" pulley.

Hope that helps.

I'm using the MMS crank pulley along with a 3.5 Reichard Racing supercharger pulley.

Thanks guys that helped me understand what all the numbers were for. So i have a 4060407 which is a 40.7" belt if i have a 3.5" pulley why is this size too big for it?
Oh well i exchange it tomorrow for a 4060400 40.0" belt and see if that works.

I know what your problem COULD be; how is your idler pulley wear? I had to run a significantly smaller size belt when my idler pulley was worn down quite low.

ATI really needs to fix that aluminum pulley situation. Once the anodizing wears off (and it will), the belt cuts into that aluminum significantly.

First off, those K-numbers mike posted are not gatorback belts, they are Dayco or Gates belts. I have also used the 40.7" gatorback, but I have a 4.0" blower pulley. It was a really tight fit though. I think mike's post referenced a D1SC kit, maybe the P1SC has the blower pulley positioned in a slightly closer spot? Maybe try a 39" belt.

Just subsitute the "K" with a "4" and you have the cross-referenced Goodyear number.

K060415 becomes 4060415
