Default what if plugs are too cold?

I have a 5.3L 8.6:1 compression, 15psi.
I have been using NGK R5724-8 plugs and they last quite a few months then foul out. Wondering if I should try and go a step colder or hotter?
What is easier to blow the spark out? a colder or hotter plug?

If you are foulings 8s you are surely going to foul 9s. I run 8s usually but if I have a lot of idle/putting around time on them they will foul sometimes. I would try try the 7s and just switch to 8s when you are racing the car.

They last quite awhile actually before they foul, and I tend to get on it every time I drive it
I'll buy a set of each. I just wasnt sure what ones would foul easier. Thanks.

I have 8's in both cars, and they are just fine. Maybe your tune is a bit rich Marty. I haven't changed the plugs in the Camaro since last October right before the LSX race.

Its kinda weird. Might just be my driving. I gave a few people a ride last night and got on it in 3rd gear at about 35mph and it popped a few times like the plugs blowing out, might just have been going to slow for that high of a gear and an extra person in the car? weird. But if I downshift its fine. Usually I can lay into it in 3rd at that speed and it takes off. I havnt touched a thing on it or the tune since 06. Drove it to work today and it seems to run good.
The only thing I did add was a 50hp shot of spray, and that did foul the plugs out.

NGK V-Powers tend to naturally foul out easily. I ran them, and everyone I know with a performance orientated motor runs them...They're just an expendable plug. Use them, beat the **** out of them, and throw them away. For 16$, it's not too bad on the wallet at least.

First time I got on the Formula screwing around Western, I left a James Bond size cloud of smoke behind me, no idea why it did that, but it sure looked cool. The Form's plugs might be a hair soggy at start up, but I think they clean up. The Camaro drives fine, I drove it to Schaumburg and back.
