408 and T88, using TR6 NGK's Gap .025-.028?

Default 408 and T88, using TR6 NGK's Gap .025-.028?

I'm curious what gap you guys recommend. Car makes 860RW with the turbo setup. I haven't put the new plugs in yet, but did buy them and have them gapped at .025. The guy who put the car together said somewhere between
.025 & .028, just curious if you all think.

Ok, thanks for the reasurance. I think I'm better with the biggest gap possible though. The question in my mind is what is the safest high limit on the gap without a misfire.

Hooking this car down is a much bigger task I realize too, but in the end I'm looking to perfect the car.

My opinion is that if you run enough boost to need lower than a .030 gap, you might need a colder plug than a tr6. That being said, mine are at .028, so I am either a hypocrite, or too cheap and lazy too swap to a colder plug.

I ran tr6's to 920 rwhp and 125 mph in the 1/8 with no problems. I believe mine were gapped at .035 on stock ls1 coils. I realize now that a colder plug is a good idea.
