Default power

my goal with this car was to be at least 1000 fwhp, and be able to sink it into the 8's. Like i mentioned this car will now primarily be a 1/4 track car, so i am trying to get the maximum potential out of the setup I am running now.

One SC and one twin turbo, both made good steam and did not pop the intake like most say. One was 9psi and one was 14psi.

If the seal is a huge deal, fast sells rebuild seals to go through and check it out.
Hey Jake I plan on running 18 psi, so it makes me a liitle nervous.. I know for sure if I was doing NA or only like 10 psi then this would be the intake... but 14 psi is a good amount of boost for that intake.

I'm curious if the new Fast 92mm intake will work out better. Bob

New intake includes refinements such as enlarged throttle body opening, higher strength polymer manifold materials and improved throttle body sealing flange and o-ring gasket

Forget about inferior knock-offs, the patented LSX™ 92mm Intake Manifold from FAST™ is the only three-piece Gen III composite manifold proven to deliver increased performance without compromising bottom-end drivability or high rpm power. For both street and racing applications, the intake manifold is an easy bolt-on installation for GM Gen III (LS1, -2 & -6) engines and is designed to work with the new FAST™ Big Mouth Throttle Body™. In an effort to improve on the previously successful LSX™ Intake Manifold introduced three years ago, the 92mm manifold has received a host of feedback-driven refinements and a larger throttle opening to match the newly released FAST™ Big Mouth™ 92mm throttle body.

The new FAST™ LSX™ 92mm Intake Manifold maintains the performance gains achieved over stock intake manifolds with no loss in drivability or low rpm torque. While the new FAST™ intake manifold delivers terrific performance right out of the box, it can be ported by the customer for even more flow. As requested by previous LSX™ customers, the new intake features the added benefits of corrosion-free stainless steel assembly bolts, an improved throttle body seal

Just looking at it as I have spent so much already that If it is going to benefit me to try a different intake setup, then that is something I might want to look into doing...
I never did like the way that elbow was made. i like the intake elbows.com one better. But the hacking of my cowl dident sit well but I did it.

I have a bare LS2 intake if you want to borrow it and try it, no fuel rails or anything.

I'm still running my LS2 in my turbo car.

When I had the blower I made 754rwhp with a TH400, 8:1 348ci, LS6 intake, big headers, duals, and 21.5 psi. Went 9.40@143 with 18 psi and 680rwhp.

I just started tuning my friends car 427 F1R car with the GMPP intake and Nitrous Dave modded elbow. At 5000 rpm it made 874 rwhp and 780 rwtq. We then pulled my graph with the 402/F1R/LS6 and under the curve the difference are as much as 100 hp and 100 foot/lbs of torque until around 5000 rpm where it catches up.

That was enough for me to get him to pull his intake and stick on the LS6, no matter how cool the carb intake looks. Now we just gotta sort out the fueling.

Very useful info, I am getting ready to put a intake back on the car, so I am even debating going back to a LS6.
