This may sound stupid, but what is the difference between a T67 and T76?
They are both the same price on the FI.com website. Why wouldnt someone just go with a T76 if they can get it for the same price as a T67?

Im almost positive that the stock fans are pullers, and I need to use pushers if they are going to be mounted in front.
Also, Ive been trying to find a good deal on V-clamps but they all seem to be expensive. Let me know where you end up buying your clamps from.

I've got a GT45 that I'm going to be bolting on. It'll bolt up to the flange, we'll see if I have any clearance issues when its on the car....We're fabbing up some bracing to make sure the piping isn't left trying to support the weight of the turbo.
I'm also gonna wrap all the piping and use some DEI Silicone spray, for what its worth.
And on the v-bands, I'm not using any of the piping after the turbo, gotta get a larger downpipe, and I'm running a straight 3.5" back to a Borla bullet after the turbo.

Looking forward to your results. I was looking at those kits too.. and thinking the same thing as you.... just replace the turbos with good units. Post up some pics when you can and let us know how they really work.
BTW, I had a Vortech SQ that ate an impeller blade. It turned to paste before it ever entered the engine. No harm, no foul. (probably better CR.. lol)

questions for those of you that has researched this turbo kit...
*those "headers" or whatever they are, is that what helps to keep the A/C? do you think they will last???
*are there any pipes that runs under the k member??? stock k member or tubular? relocated alternator??
I've previously traded a motor for a new Garrett turbo, so I'm really thinking about using this kit for the pipes. If the headers will hold up awhile & keep a/c, and of course steel is steel although the welds may not be the best, sounds like it's a decent deal to me.

I have the original PTK and the headers hold up, I can't couch for these but have 'heard' on here from a couple guys that they do indeed look to be up to the task but I am not sure on this.
With this kit you can use the stock K member, I did so with my PTK kit. There are no pipes that run under the k member either. There is a crossover pipe that runs from the passenger side and y's into the turbine housing. Many people claim that it is a low point, however I haven't drove my car yet but I don't find it to be low at all. Its tucked up nicely to the undercarriage and my SLP headers were allot lower than this piping. So I am not worried one bit. I here its worse for a M6 than a A4 in which I have so can't say much for the 6 speed crowd other than word.
To me 800 bucks is a steal, not even sure how they can do it for than, LOL Like mentioned many times though, toss the turbo and don't even attempt to try and use it.
Happy horsepower hunting
