I got the threaded IAT for a cyclone and put it a few inches before my TB. I just tapped the pipe. It's 3/8" NPT

As long as it's after the IC. I reused the grommet 5/8 hole. Seen guys on here use the stockers up to 14 psi.

As long as the hole is drilled correctly, there no reason that it can not hold more. I know of several stock IAT sensors installed in steel pipes holding 20 to 22 pounds just fine.

Hole size is 5/8. drill straight as possible and don't let the bit wallow out any. Simply a perfect 5/8 hole, you don't want it loose. Reuse the stock grommet and sensor.
