Default Supercharging the FireHawk?

So i have a 2002 Firehawk It has slp long tube headers slp loudmouth exhaust high flow cats, high flow MAF, Smooth Bellows, tuned by slp, cold air induction. What would have to be done to make a procharger work with the car. i already order a LS7 clucth with an LS2 flywheel. The only thing i am worried about it is the rear not holding up because its stock. Any help would be appreciated.

buy the kit and bolt it on, need new plugs and need a tune. I think it comes with a tune but you need a dyno tune if you can afford it.

I put this link together to answer a lot of the questions such as the ones you have. Hopefully it will help.

go with it. the rear will eventually break if you drive it hard. but easy does it and it should last awhile, at least that's what I hope for mine. you should also be concerned about your motor as much as the rear end.

Don't scare him candlelit. lol A good tune and keeping the boost/hp moderate and you'll go for yrs. The rear is what I'd worry about more.

The rear is something to worry about, yes, but only if your going to take it too the track. Hard launches is what kills its life. The kind of power I make is threw my stock 10 bolt (in my sig). Its been re-built a few times only cause I couldn't afford a 12 bolt when I broke it.

If your doing a lot of drag racing its going to break either way. It might brake tomorrow it might hold for a while.

If your going to be doing spirited driving I wouldnt worry about it just get some lower control arms/something along those lines and it'll be fine. At least, thats what I have been doing for the past year or so and I only enjoy the car. I plan to get back into drag racing.

Your rearend will hold up just fine as long as you dont put the sticky tires on it, if you do put some on your rear end is on borrowed time. I believe firehawks came from slp with a diff girdle which helps the rear end a little. 7.5 ten bolts are like rotary motors...you can build them to hold power but eventually they just blow up.

The upgraded diff was an option, the Auburn.
