Default OFI turbo headers

Do the turbo headers keep all factory options. It looks like the driver side header would hit... Does anyone have pics of these installed, with everything on the car.

These headers look great, but do you think they are over kill for an 8psi application. They are not cheap, it seems like they will be a great starting point for a custom turbo application.

3rd picture...what is chrome thing right in front of the power steering pump? Looks like its bolted to your inlet pipe.

I'm in the middle of my OFI install. The headers should work with all factory stuff. I don't have ABS so I cant' say about it for sure. It's very close to the power steering but clears. If you have ETP heads you'll need to do some clearancing. Plug access is pretty tough. The passenger side isn't bad from under the car except for #6 I had to cut off a spark plug socket to get it to fit in on that one. The rest you'll need to use a wrench on the socket to get them. The driver's side isn't bad but is none accessable once the dp is in place.

This may sounds nuts but...how hard/long is it to just take off the exhaust manifolds to change the plugs?

The manifolds are pretty stout from our view, we have a build going on (98transguy), and its using a 85mm snail in front of a 4l80e, should be a beast.

We upgraded to a billet powersteering pulley since its a close fit and also moved the alternator uptop for heat issues with the 4in dp.

All powersteering lines are stainless and sleeved in firesleeve.

Also, all the pipes in the kit were sent out for a nice treatment of jethot 2000 black, i will post more pictures this weekend of the progress.

I am extremely interested in this kit, but I have low funds right know. I would just need the hot parts, I got to say I love how it looks. Does the kit require you to move the radiator up a little, and change fans??

yes and yes...cablebandit cut his core support and used the stock rad/..not sure about fans.

I only have the T4/3" DP but I've changed my plugs 3-4 times without removing anything with all acc. Its not fun on the driver side with the DP on but not that big of deal. Probly a little tougher with a 3.5-4" DP though.

I use a craftsman 5/8 sparkplug socket with machined wrench flats on the end of it and a box wrench for all 8 plugs. A chopped off spark plug boot off some old wires helps get some of them started and should be in everyones toolbox anyways. I think I do the front 2 on the driver side from the top.

Plugs are easy to put in and take out by hand from the bottom, but I can't get my sparkplug socket to fit onto two of them on the passenger side. I'm buying the SLP sparkplug socket since it's shorter and been machined for the plug to go all the way threw it then you just use a wrench on it.
