Car is down waiting for the high pressure power steering hose to get replaced.

One of the turbo pipes melted it =)

lol true, but most of the people here will not want to deal with all the headaches and just buy a complete kit from a sponser.

So it goes both ways =).

Yes but the majority of us on here would consider a $3000 savings worth it just to a little extra work.

Going to rotate that Vband once I jack the car up.

Still wondering if I should leave the exhaust as it is, or add a bullet. Its not that loud as it sits.

Hmmm, I wonder if this kit will work with the new Camaro?

While I'm at it, since it seems that everyone is throwing away the turbo and wastegate and buying from a sponsor, wouldn't this kit be a better option for the do-it-yourselfers? It resulted from the same search and is less $$.

I just bought that kit, Monello posted what's missing and I really think this kit is perfect since you get all the hot parts, everything else you customize according to your needs. Just my 2 cents.

Im excited about this ebay kit. Im running the old qmp kit right now and i really what to upgrade. Money is low but my cold side is complete. I have plenty of extra tubing that i can fab up to fit with this kit. Im waiting to see if the welds hold up or any other material problems.

Not sure if this has been covered. Does this kit retain stock fans? Does it keep a/c? Do you need to relocate the alternator.?

You have to relocate alternator for sure since the driver's header points towards the front of the car, I think you can keep A/C and fans but it'll be better if monello confirms this.

A/C yes Fans No this is a copy of the PTS/PTK kit and I had it on my car for 2 years and around 10,000 miles. It makes pretty good power depending on the turbo, had poor ground Clearance, and the car ran hot when it was in traffic
