riiiiggghhhtttt.....

You can certainly get a very efficient IC to fit between your fog lights. You won't find one on ebay though.

Frost, did you end up wraping your headers also? Driver side Only or both the driver and passenger side?

At first just the driver's side for the obvious reasons, but I went back shortly after and wrapped up all that was hot, for the most part.

Don't remember the hi flo guys having cooling issues mainly because there was so few kits that made it out to our members in that huge scam that marko and bill pulled over on us here in the FI section.

some of these guys crack me up about HPT and ebay intercoolers, yes you can learn it. just takes time and patience and the ebay intercoolers will take you further than most of us will ever need.

KP here on the board runs a ebay intercooler to bottom 9s on his procharged set up. They are used in quite a few set ups here on tech.

If that was in reference to my "you won't find it on ebay" remark, I wasn't saying anything about them other than that they don't have a unit like the one I have listed for sale (to fit BETWEEN fog lights) there.

If anybody's on the fence for a FMIC, I'll just put in a good word for Griffin.

It'll cost more, but the quality is unquestionable and your $$ will be going to an American company.

As you can see, it's bigger... and not as pretty without the fogs. I kinda like the "industrial" look, though:

I would have thought the vortech would have been the easyer of the two!!

A Formula front bumper would have no problems with the fog lights ... but, it's still the Formula bumper and T/A guys wont go for that ... nice build!

Yea I know.....

Going to dig around and see if i can get some pics of other FMIC setups. Maybe if I can put it inside the front impact bar/block. This way i can still keep the fogs, and the bottom is left open for air to flow to the radiator.

I'm sure you could rig up some brackets for the fog lights that mount in front if the intercooler. You would probably have to run a slightly smaller aftermarket fog light since it will be pushed farther forward.

I do want to try making some bracket for the fogs.

Then ill buy a black bird license plate cover and cut the interior of it, with a 1 inch border. Stick some black mesh on it, and cut the bird out and stick it in the middle.

just make custom brackets for the fog lights, its a little pain trying to line them up again and be straight so the light doesnt look retarded but yea its very do-able and works perfectly with a "big" 31x12x3 intercooler. Ive done it several times on LS1 Trans Ams and just cut out the front "bird" plate with new fog brackets. Its like everything in life, You have to sacrifice SOMETHING man lol I chose foglights for obvious reasons and didnt mind ditching the plate since it showed off the intercooler. I do like leaving the mesh on the front filler plate where the bird used to be and leave it alone with just mesh. Looks awesome. There's a guy i know on here which is local to me "bboyferal" i think that has that front plate exactly like you want it. Check out his sig pic so you get a better idea
