Yes All the conections were to straight metal. no painted surfaces. The one thing that I will include is that I had power hooked up several times before, I would say about six times or so. Then this time when I flipped the head lights on. Darkness!!!!

I would also believe it is your ground. I have also hook a ground up to the seat belt bolt. It did not work even with grinding off the paint on the floor pan.

so you are saying change the seat belt bolt ground and ground it more to the chassis? Could it have been that the power from the head lights set over the edge?

No... I believe the the canadium (spelling?) plating or the seat acts like a insulator. This we be my assumption. Also how long is your ground cable? Yes, Change your point of ground to the floor pan with it own bolt.

Right on.... Ya give the ground a try. You might be surpised. Just unhook the postive side of the battery or your fuses will be blown......

I will see if it changes anything. It is just weird that it gets power up front. Would it still get power if it was not grounding correctly

Of course you will see a postive electrical charge from your fuse box. That side of the circle is hook up. The other side which is yoour negative is not. Think of it like a circle. Your postive side is half the other side is your negative. At the half point you have a cut (your ground) keeping it from having a full circle from it not being grounded.

another vote for checking grounds. Did you relocate any grounds when you moved the fuse/relay boxes? You might check those too.

I had about this same thing happen when I forgot to tighten down the grounds on the sides of the dash after doing some work.. had power to everything until turning on the headlights, which killed power instantly.

Looking forward to seeing some vid of this and some new pics! Good luck with startup after you get this little electrical issue taken care of.

Its funny how people say that 35o ci isnt big enough for twin 76s, when modular mustangs are running twin70s to twin 78s on 302ci.... And also how supras are running 88mm turbos on a 6cyl.

So im sure the'll be fine :0

bad azz build dude, no bull s
