Looks fugin' insane and will make way more than the ole 346 can handle but will still be a huge handful thats for sure. Josh does some great work! Nice install, when do you plan to have it on the road?

The only thing I'd do is pull the whole AC box out of the dash.

Put a second 90* bend in the passenger side down pipe so the exhaust transitions smoothly.

No need for the secon 90* turn in the Passenger DP. This is far from my first Twin turbo build. Theraml dynamics, exhaust gas flow, and Scavenging. I deal with it all on a daily basis at the plant. There is no power to be made by adding a 90*.

I have never done that before, what does that require? Do I have to remove the dash. It is a street car, but does not have AC. But I would like to keep the heat, for the cooler months here!

Thanks for the sugestion, but like Josh said below I am going to trust him on this one.... I am Possitive that I will not take this kit to its full potential this year and possibly not next. I am not a Drag racer but do go to the track for test and tunes, and then street race and thats it. If it stops me from making 1300hp then I am not worried. If I can not make 8,9, or 1000. I am sure that something else will be wrong, but then I will start to question it.

I am going to be starting the oil return lines on Tuesday. So check back for more pictures then. The intercooler is a 3.5" core that I got off Ebay. It has 2 2.5" inlets and one 3" outlet. I am not sure if this will hold the amount of power that I want to make and may need to go to a custom one. So we will see!

And steal away, I am alright with that!

My plan is to have it running and driveable by the 2nd of August, I have a fund raiser/charity event that I would like to get the car done for! It is a cruise in for my best friends mom that has stage 4 cancer.

You have to remove the dash. It is not that difficult to do what so ever. While you're at it you can take out the black mat on the firewall along with the pad under the top of the dash. You can remove the AC system and still keep the heater. Here's a picture from the_merv 's setup:

Did not get a lot done yesterday but did get a little done. I spent more time trying to locate things then anything. I got the intake piping from TB to intercooler routed now just needs to be welded!

Things purchased Yesterday.

2 4an feed kits
2 10an drain kits
drilled and tapped oil block thingy for the feed lines
drilled and welded bungs on front cover

I welded the bungs on the front cover at kind of an angle cause it is just really close to the crank pulley.

Yeah sorry was not sure if there was any intrest still, sorry.

I will gets pics of everything tomorrow and post the updates. What I can tell you is that everything is in the engine bay and everything is routed. All I have to do now is pull the engine out, build it, and some clean up on some cuts. I will have pics tomorrow

Why did you choose a 700R4/4l60 in such a build, it's not a transmission that lives well at high HP levels. Why not use a Th400 which is cheaper and a lot stronger?

What is is the max RPM you plan on turning this motor to?

Transmission was built by Art Car, it is stated that it was good for 1200hp..... I got this transmission from a buddy so I could get the car running. The other thing that I like about it is that it has overdrive. I do like to go on road trips so it will be good for that.

I am hoping to make this work for a while, and then if I need to step up then I will.

I will run to 7000 to 7200.... That is the Highest I would probably spin it!

have you thought of selling the 700r4 and getting a 4l80, would be cheaper in the long run.

What size turbine housings are you using and what turbine wheels? it's going to be tough to light two t76's off with a 347 cube engine and a 7000 rpm redline.

If the 700 is so bad then what is the purpose of selling it if no one is going to buy it. That is probably easier said then done, selling it I mean. Like I said I will try it and if it works great, if not then I know not to go that route again. How many people have tried the 700's? All I have ever heard of is, glide, 400, manual, and 4l80.

Also this is not an all out race car, but more of a project that I want to see if I can complete on my own and make great #'s and times. If I can run a single digit that would be great if I can run a low 9 that would even be better, but if I can run an 8 I would fall out of my chair.

Also I am not sure on the specs of the Turbos. I will have to look. I think there is a picture of the box in the first post It may be able to tell you what you are looking for!
