Paging Black LS1 T/A: Your fuel system
Thanks buddy.
Randy.

I had to put two Walbro 340's in plus the 55's to support what I have right now. Last time I dyno'd, I was already at 80% Inj Duty Cycle. But, I maintain the 58 PSI level... I don't try to raise the fuel pressure with boost. There may be more in it.
One pump on near stock cubes and the 50's at Sea Level may be enough, but I know a 400+ cubes is much hungrier, and when I went past 500 RWHP, I was at 12.0:1 or better A/F at 6200 RPMs.
Until I land another contract or get a permanent job, I won't be spending a lot of money on changing my setup. I want to, but I can't.
Anticipating something soon, I've spent money to keep running (things break), but I haven't bought much new stuff beyond getting the injectors and setting up the two pumps (I had to have subframe connectors, too). But, even that was probably irresponsible of me.I want to enhance my fuel system next (RR FPR, rails, larger lines), but it may take a minute.

Anyway, thanks for the fuel info. And thanks for keeping it real on this board and the "other" board all these years. Much appreciated. I'll have to come down and meet you one day soon.

the good thing is the regulator is only $120 so once the cash starts flowing again, it's something fairly inexpensive and easy to add to your existing setup to carry you a bit further until the mondo fuel system can be installed.

Then, what other changes? Don't I have to change my fuel line setup? Do you have a diagram of the mods?
That's one thing about this hobby... you must always learn something new, and one day you are the teacher, the next day, the student.
think you do have to change the lines and such, might be a redneck way to keep the current lines though.
i think everyone here end up running out of money for their car, probably cause we all spend to much on them.
Im broke again for redoing my fuel system and for my new clutch.
I was able to plumb mine in at the back of the car at the brass T junction using the stock lines.
just had to rebend the stock return line a bit.
I can snap pics if you like. the install may be considered 'redneck' to some but it has been working perfectly for me for close to 2 years now.
