How many APS twin turbo 06 or newer z06's have you guys put together? I was on the web site it is definitly an expensive project. Should be insane when its all done. Slot car like handling with brutal straight line power. Can't beat that!

bOOsted- Yes it will see some mile action

52172- We've done an APS C6 which is currently in the 700rwhp range, this is the first C6Z (much of the turbo system is very similar). It is an expensive undertaking, my debit card is begging for mercy.

Edit- Also, thanks to all for the positive comments. The usage of the car will be very much along the same lines as my 96SS. Main objective being a comfortable street car with lots of power while also being used at the dragstrip, mile events and possibly some road course duty.

Yes it keeps A/C. I couldn't justify spending the time to fab my own system when the design of this system is in my opinion, ideal, and is easily capable of meeting my goals.

Duplicating the combination in the future is less time consuming as well.

Any reason you chose the APS kit over the Turbo Technology kit? I thought you guys had a good relationship with TTi?

Thanks guys. I like TTi's stuff but in this case I decided APS was the better choice for me. I don't think TTi's in comparison will have the upper rpm potential when compared to the APS system as it is limited to using currently available exhaust housings. APS builds their own 1.06 a/r exhaust housing for this system which really lets the 35r's breath up top on a 427ci engine.

Just wondering, what was the a/r housing limit on the TTI kit?

and What's the valve spring seat pressure on those psi Isky springs?

Most T3 housings are .68 a/r though I've seen some that are .82??

The psi springs were installed to replace the scrap isky springs ET sent with the heads. I've got them at 200 on the seat and 425 over the nose (.603).

Also, I put the car on the rack and scaled it today. I'll surely cringe next time it hits the scales but hopefully it won't be too bad.

Nice car for sure, definitely interested in the results of the micro-switch for gear changes on the E-boost 2. Can't wait to see how sick this Z-oh is when your finished.

Yeah, that's a small fortune in parts right there. It will be awesome when it's finished though!
