supercharger question

is it possible for an electric supercharger to actually work? i found one that offers up to 8 psi and its only 110 dollars or so. im just trying to decide if it is worth it... i guess im just looking for a cheap way here but im wondering if anyone has some real unbiased knowledge on this subject

I am currently using the Procharger D1SCe (electric) and I could only get 5 psi. So if 5 psi makes you happy then I say go for it.

8 psi might be achieved on a small lawnmower engine, but you would most likely not tell any performance gains at all on one of our engines. It may actually become a restriction and slow you down. Bob

this is gonna get good... let's just say there's a reason that people spend thousands of dollars for a conventional supercharger... BECAUSE IT WORKS!!!
