i've sold and installed tons of every supercharger you noted up there and they are all good blowers, the procharger kits tend to offer more power but the fit and finish isnt quite as nice as the vortech, the s trim and the t trim are LOUD way louder than the procharger p1sc or the d1sc

I have a C5 with a procharger and on other C5s the only head unit that is close to the procharger is Paxton NOVI 2000. I have had no issues with mine and love the power and relibility it has.

We finished up yesterday on installing a ProCharger on a C6 LS3. It is making 570 rwhp on our Mustang Chassis Dyno. Bob

I also have the Vortech V-2 SQ T-trim, with the same gears, volute and impeller as the V-3 T-trim. It's pretty quiet - a medium whine when the engine's cold mostly goes away. Putting around town you get a little whine during stop and go. But on deccel, it whistles a little but the blower gears whine a lot more. Under WOT I can't hear it at all - the exhaust drowns it out.
This is the 2nd SQ I've had, and the quality has been fine. The S-trim I sold to another member here and I haven't heard of any problems with it either.

This will bring up some more opinions. Some will say using a Tial BOV is wrong with centrifugals. There is some thought that BOV's that stay closed at idle heat soak the intercooler. I'm not gonna offer my opinion on that, but I have the ProCharger Big Red valve on my car. First installed it was open all the time was loud, sounded like crap and overall annoyed the **** outta me. Tightened it up so that it opens only at higher vacuum levels and it works just how I like it. With the Tial, you'll have to play with the spring to get it to operate correctly.

My vote is procharger, I looked at the vortech and at least on the F-body kits I looked at the whole engine is covered by the damn thing. I got my D1 Kit from Bob at EPP and I love that thing. Changing the oil was my only concern at first but now I have it down. I use a long straw that I took from a gas station and fill it up. I usually take it apart and and inspect it every other oil change since it is on my DD. i have never had any issues with it and I have over 30,000 miles on it so far.
