I double missed the opportunity to get the D1SC. One while ordering, and then the kit arrived with it. I was honest and traded it out. Damn. Double Damn. Should have listened to Bob and got it the first time, and definately should have played dumb and just installed it. Oh well, learn from me. It will cost me when I go big.

My little p1sc does good for 10s on a stock cube/stock bottom end 346.
Anything larger than a 347 although should be running a D1, 370/402/403. Just an example not exact numbers but say you run 14lbs of boost with a p1sc on a 402 and make 600hp. The same 402 with a D1 can make the same power with only 5lbs of boost. The 402 with the D1 will always make more power easier.
If buying a brand new kit, a person would be dumb not to fork out the extra couple hundred to get the D1. But if you find a good used kit i wouldnt pass it up. I bought a complete p1sc procharger system with less than 3000 miles for under 2 grand and I have no complaints with it. Not building a record breaking car nor a 9 second street monster, just a car to have fun with and embarrass a few mustangs along the way.

Take one more step with the built motor and 9:1 compression... Go with the F1A!!! or F1C...
Don't get me wrong, My stock heads (except for springs) Stock LS2 short block (except for ECS blower cam) makes 713rwhp and 645rwtq @ only 9psi with a P1SC...
But the F1A and the F1C will be able to be pullied down for low boost, and then you have way more room to grow... Neither takes a ton of HP to rotate... If I can find a buyer for my P1, I'll be picking up an F1C the next day!!!
Just an idea...
I WISH someone would have suggested this to me... But with your built engine, and low compression, you have an even better reason to go this route up front than I did...
