I was looking into these for my LS7 and was told by katech that they will not work on the LS7 block because of the location of the oil galleys. I ended up using oliver rods with lube tubes, as I plan on running a bit of crankcase vacuum in a road race engine.
What did I say? Piston squirters can be used in any Gen 4 block. LS9 squirters will work in shorter stroke engines, our squirter will work for 4" stroke engines.

I feel I got a deal on the machine work for mine...$300. I would probably guess about $500. You can't just machine the block and bolt them in and be done. Clearances are very tight with a 4 inch crank. Basically you have to mock up each one and modify things until everything clears.
