Default Intercooler

Looking for a FMIC for STS system on a Trans Am. I tried to look at Texas rear mount but their website seems to be down or something. Thanks!

I got one of ebay that came with lots of 2.5inch piping, silicon couplers, t-bolt clamps, and a blow off valve. The intercooler is 31x12x3 and has 3inch in and 3inch outlet. Only cost me 250.oo. It was all brand new stuff u just got to look. Many people are using this same intercooler with no probs. The brand is cxracing.

TRT went under for screwing people over. Check around on Turbomustangs...there are VERY good deals on cheaper intercoolers.

how much did you have to cut the front bumper to get FMIC to fit without having to cut the brace...... you have anymore pics of the whole front end?

I had to cut off a lot of the fog light hole that is recessed and also about 4inches off the very bottom where it curves up underneath.

I dont have any of the underside that is cut.

that looks really clean i love the fact that you didnt cut the bumper brace, did you have to cut alot of the plastic bumper to make it fit good?

Thanks.

Yeah i did not want to cut the support at all so I tryed a different way; dont know if anyone else has done it like I did.

You just have to trim a couple of inches off the bottom of the bumper up underneath and the fog light holes. I used a sawzall and marker and kept trimming it till it fit. u have to get rid of the foam support behind the bumber and thats it. I took me about 6hrs to complete it. I is deffinetly doable. It still is pretty sturdy even though there is only a couple of bolts and some snaps holding it on. No probs yet.

I have a front mount intercooler setup for sale. It includes 3" pipes mandrel bent going up through the fuse box area and all the 4-5ply reinforced silicone hoses, heavy duty t-bolt clamps, and a 31"x12"x3" intercooler. It includes everything all the way to the throttle body and is meant for guys running their MassAirFlow sensor as well...Pm me if you want more info and pics...
