Going new direction...Boost
I am looking at going with the D1SC and am wanting to hit the 600-650rwph mark. That's about all I am looking for out of the car power wise. I want to keep it a street car and I think that anything above that would just be too much for the street and I really wouldn't be able to enjoy it. I would like to be able to get into the 10's as well. I don't know a lot about the boosted community and am trying to search and find out everything I need to know. I'm sure it will be a learning process just as my last build was and I look forward to that.
A first few questions though, I obviously cannot use my current H/C combo for boost so I will be selling my heads and cam. What are popular H/C combinations for boost? I am looking to stay around 10-12 on the boost so I will be upgrading to ARP heads studs and main studs as well. I currently have Cometic .040 head gaskets which I think are one use only so I will probably have to buy new head gaskets as well. What is recommended here?
If anyone has any more information to offer up I am all ears at this point. This will be a winter build into next spring so I have some time to plan this out.
Thanks in advance!
if budget isnt a problem then some AFR'S OR ETP'S
you will need more fuel so look into upgrading that also some 60's pound injectors will do the job, drivetrain will become an issue also so save up for that also.
Force induction gets pricey, also need gauges

Cool, thanks for the help guys, I think I'd rather use the extra $1000 for a new rear end as trans2000am said. I'm also going to probably need to up my injectors from 42lbs to 60 and throw a new fuel pump in there as well.
either way good luck !!!
I would imagine w/ worked 317's and another 4lbs of boost you will be at the high end of your expectations.
As stated fuel system is a must, I am having issues at the moment w/ my single racetronix pump, and am switching to a dual intank setup.
Good luck these car's are a blast with boost!!!
