very true being near the end of the race season up here , probably only get to run it once or twice anyways.i know an ex pro stock racer that owns a fab shop that offered to do the cage and just pay for the materials.i might do that.anything more than that and its not really in the budget till next year.

Oh yes, the 4l80 could not be controlled by the 98 computer anyways. A 98 pcm is limited to a 2bar anyways with hpt. The bigstuff is much better at controlling fueling from a "on the go" stance. If later on he wants to add more datalogging sensors, he can do so much easier then buying a entire new system.

The 99+ can be converted to run the 4l80e and a 3bar SD.

Why is it peaking at 5800 RPM? Are you guys letting out? That thing should pull to 7K+ RPM.

i think the setup overall made real good numbers considering the limiting factors of the head and cam, i am very happy with the numbers.now i have to work on getting to hook up the power i did make.15" wheels bigger drag radial.roll cage all that fun stuff.

Yep, this is just a baby motor. After making the car able to go down the strip, i think a solid roller lsx block is in order for you, along with a 106mm lol.
